Crunchy and yummy tuna fish rolls synonymous to Pinoy celebrations.

Century Tuna Lumpiang Shanghai


2 125 grams Century Tuna Flakes in Oil
1/4 cup chopped carrot
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/4 cup chopped sinkamas
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 medium egg
1 teaspoon seasoning granules
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
12 to 16 medium lumpia wrapper
1/2 cup cooking oil for frying
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce or ketchup (optional)


In a bowl, combine Century Tuna Flakes, carrot, green onion, sinkamas, flour, cornstarch, egg, seasoning granules, salt and pepper. Mix well. Scoop 2 tablespoons of tuna mixture into lumpia wrapper. Fold edges and roll, moistening ends with water to seal. Deep-fry lumpia in hot oil until golden in color. Serve with sweet-chili sauce or ketchup, if liked.

Serves 4 to 6.
