A unique pasta recipe made with asparagus, nuts and miso paste.

Century Tuna and Miso Pasta


250 grams linguine or fettuccine pasta
1-180 grams Century Chili Corned Tuna
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon miso paste
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/2 cup fresh asparagus tips
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup fresh spinach
1/4 cup sliced scallions
1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds
salt and pepper to taste


Cook pasta as directed on the package. Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Sauté onion and garlic. Add Century Chili Corned Tuna, miso, soy sauce, paprika, and asparagus. Pour in white wine and simmer for 2 minutes. Add spinach and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta and toss well. Transfer to a platter then top with toasted almonds.

Makes 4 to 5 servings.
